Inference vs. Assumption

DEFINTION:
  • Inference is an educated guess based on text evidence and personal experience.
  • Assumption in a determination made with no logical evidence -- nothing concrete or objective supporting it.
QUESTION 2:

Inference is when a guess is made with text evidence and personal experience; but an assumption is when a guess is made no logical evidence supporting the guess. Another thing that makes inference and an assumption different  from each other is the level of think for instance inference requires a higher level of thinking and assumption is a lower level of thinking. Some thing else about assumption is illogical while inference is more logical.

QUESTION 3 :
Two things that inference must be based on is text evidence and personal experience.

 QUESTION 4 :

Inferencing fits primarily in creating of Bloom's Taxonomy. Because you have to understand and remember. Once you remember and understand then you can evaluate the context. You make an educational guess (inference) and then create and idea what direction inferential guess will go.
